@kristian-acctually kite is spelled drager in Norweigian but it is pronouced dragon.

Ah yeah, I knew about the Scandinavian languages at least. (I'm quite the linguist!) But in addition, this list by some kite enthusiasts confirms it to be the same case for a bunch of other languages as well, most notably German and Czech. Thank you! This one is perhaps a tiny bit more meaningful in languages other than English where the word for kites is the same as for dragons. This includes Norwegian and probably a few others. (I actually have no idea.)
