Sketching and inking is done in the excellent <a href="http://my.smithmicro.com/win/mangaex/index.html" rel="nofollow">Manga Studio</a>. Since the release of v4.0, I can do most of the coloring in that program as well, only saving the final few "post-production" stages for Photoshop. I've tried Painter on a few occasions, most notably to do the <a href="http://www.optipess.com/2009/04/03/versus/" rel="nofollow">"Versus"</a> strip, but I ran into a few too many instability issues on my aging computer.
