Unless they take care not to swallow the seeds, that is. I just don’t see the point in eating grapes unless I can chew the juicy pulp, which is no fun to do if it contains seeds. So away they go.

Also, I was thinking an alternate version with watermelons instead of grapes could perhaps prove to be slightly funnier – at least a whole lot messier.

When I was little, I always used to think whether this would actually happen if I accidentally ate grape (or watermelon) seeds.

There’s a children book about this concept, using plums. I think plums, anyway. Called Plumstones. It’s quite peculiar.
