There’s a children book about this concept, using plums. I think plums, anyway. Called Plumstones. It’s quite peculiar.

Hah indeed, bachterman. It was kinda funny to me that I didn’t realize that fact until long after I’d completed the strip.

Also, I was thinking an alternate version with watermelons instead of grapes could perhaps prove to be slightly funnier – at least a whole lot messier.

Unless they take care not to swallow the seeds, that is. I just don’t see the point in eating grapes unless I can chew the juicy pulp, which is no fun to do if it contains seeds. So away they go.
