Or darken the layer mask, or spread or collapse the distance between the lines. Or it could just be causing a visual effect on his monitor because it looks alright to me. Basically it's a somewhat clever use of a bunch of Photoshop filters and displacement maps, but I'm not entirely pleased with how it turned out. The strip "Octopus Surprise" was my previous attempt at emulating the style. I guess if I come up with another idea suited for the style, I should just try to make it traditionally, if at all possible. Indeed!
