hahaha, this reminded me of my friend. When me first met, he introduced himself by saying, “Hi my name is blah blah, I’m from Taiwan. You know, ‘made in Taiwan.’”

@DeadNed: Haha, it’s actually supposed to look like the orange bot is clapping. I can see how handholding in the last panel would raise a lot of questions, as well as adding an entire new level to the strip.

Hah, yes! Very cool that you noticed – that’s easily my favorite part of the calculator strip. I love how hands gestures can sometimes communicate a point across in very subtle ways, and that clapping one is absolutely hilarious to me as it still makes me chuckle whenever I re-read the strip.
