@AndyLL, Totz the Plaid: Ah yes, as mentioned earlier I had to make readability of the words take precedence over the actual rules, although I've been thinking of redoing that second panel with the correct rules in mind. All the proposal words would be there, along with an additional one like "love" or something, but they obviously won't appear in order. I'm not entirely sure this would improve the strip, though. I could be wrong?

That there are no more Y's for her to spell out "yes", however, is just another happy accident that made this entire scenario even more hilarious to me. Thanks for the heads up!

@Missy: Aw, that's adorable! I hope the proposal had a better outcome for you two than our hapless hero above.

"Iya" and "Lor" aren't words. He's breaking the rules of Scrabble! Also, "Lurve" is questionable as a word since it's purely colloquial and may not be in most accepted dictionaries.

Actually, buddy there didn't really think this through very clearly.
There's only two 'Y''s in a standard english language scrabble set.

IYA, LOR, and LURVE don't appear in the scrabble dictionary!

Awesome! You have to let us know how it turns out.

Personally, I don't even have a Scrabble board to try this on... Sigh...
