Wrong Pen
Hey-o! Internet’s back, so here’s a brand new strip just for you! I’ll be travelling (and dogsitting!) this week, but with some luck there will be a comic strip on Friday as well.

I want to see an animated gif version of this comic.

I love his face in the final panel.

@bachterman: I don’t think I’ve ever had a “Tip ‘n Strip” pen, but I think the excellent Extras episode (the one with Robert DeNiro) featuring a pen like this might have been an inspiration for this comic.
@Nathan: Haha, true – that could’ve been cool (but probably X-rated)! I’ve actually pondered about adding animation to a lot of the recent strips, but rarely felt it would end up contributing anything. This strip, on the other hand…
@SilverDSlite: Hah, yeah! Amusingly, that final panel was the first thing I came up with for this comic since I felt that the image of a bewildered spy with a bomb about to go off behind him was somewhat funny by itself. The pen thing came later as I had to cram in something for the preceding panels.

My grandfather had one of those pens. It was one of the highlights of each visit. That and the huge corned beef sandwiches, Pepsi and Knight Rider. Wow, those were good times.

Try to read this comic from the last panel to the first. It works pretty well, IMO!
