Ah, zombie jokes and desert island jokes – finally combined into one entity.
I can’t decide which version I like better. JUST the first 3 panels or the fourth in there as well. They are both fantabulous, tho.
I guess it’s hard to imagine a zombie on an island like that. How would they end up there? Not that it matters.
Maybe they are not so good at flying airplanes: http://www.optipess.com/2010/12/06/flight-of-the-living-dead/ :)
Castabrain staring Tom Zombie Hanks :D
Nooo! (Thus the real reason Jacob kept bringing people to the island.)
johnny castaway zombified without his desserts :)
As soon as I saw the first three panels I was reminded of the opening for the webcomic ‘Last Blood’.
And the next three pages as well.
Translation: And no matter how far he gazed out into the endless sea, there were no brains to be found….ANYWHERE!
I don’t understand the caption. I’m going to go look up “joke” but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean “the thing itself, portrayed in traditional fashion.” What does the comic have that the comic’s title doesn’t?
I guess there’s that thing at the end where it turns out it’s all a horror story. I think I get that. The joke is that it would be horrible for a zombie to be on a desert island, right?
The problem is, it would be horrible for ANYONE to be on a desert island. The fact that he’s a zombie doesn’t make any difference. Put him in a meeting of the US congress for the first three panels and at least Americans would laugh.
Can’t zombies just walk to continent along the bottom of the ocean (assuming they don’t fall down some inconvenient crack)?
