Arrr! It’s a pirate comic of some sort!
Hey! I noticed you have Ad Blocking activated in your browser. And that's OK! I do it too. But please consider whitelisting this site since ad revenue is one of the few income sources for this comic. The comics will always be free either way. Thanks!

Big fan. But can’t help pointing out that sea captains wore eye patches not because they were blind in one eye, but rather to keep the eye conditioned to darkness, so they could go from sunny on deck to darkness below deck by simply flipping the eye patch.
That sounds interesting but I need to ask you for a source :)
The Wikipedia page for “eyepatch” mentioned a MythBusters episode: http://mythbustersresults.com/episode71. Apart from that there don’t seem to be any reliable sources.
What I leared from Wikipedia is, that also pilots used eyepatches: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyepatch#Sailors_and_pilots
Yeah… I aggree. I can’t stand it when this damned lexicon doesn’t get the facts straight. Oh wait – it’s a comic!
True, I saw that Mythbusters episode as well. Although I guess at least SOME of the pirates with patches got their eye poked out by a sword. Captain Redbeard is evidence of this! :P
Whether or not that myth is true, the 3D part of a 3D TV is still useless to someone who insists on wearing an eye patch all the time.
(An it’s even more useless to someone who wear two eye patches!)
Woah! Hey, I’ve never heard that before!
^ whoa! that I did not know!
It also enabled them to more accurately navigate by the stars, as they would be more visible to eye conditioned to darkness.
guess the captain is no big fan of torrents. ;)
So blue and red crewmembers will jump at the same time ?
Upgraded 3D display, now directly in 3D!
