Voilà! Here’s a new comic strip – this time a couple hours delayed due to me taking an unwise powernap in the middle of the day. Also, this strip makes me miss the teddy bear I had when growing up. R.I.P., old buddy…

Happy Halloween, dear readers! Oh, and poor Pumpkin Granpa – he will be missed. (He was even a war veteran of the great SuperSoaker war of ’52.) For another equally cheerful Halloween comic, check out last year’s entry.
This series of events certainly explain the weird taste of the water for the past few months. Also, I almost titled this strip “Use-Lass(ie)”, but decided against it due to the terrible pun. (I also decided against having a fourth panel where Lassie would be licking his/her privates.)
So, this coming Friday is Dialogue Free Comic Day, an event created by the excellent DJ Bogtrotter, where the idea is to make webcartoonists challenge themselves to make a comic completely without dialogue. So apparently the strip two posts back was the 150th Optipess comic, and I didn’t realize this until now. Oh well: Let’s celebrate now with this 152nd comic featuring kids being burned alive!
He would later be caught juggling with fake Ebola virus canisters. For shame. Also, this strip made me realize that choosing colours for clown outfits can indeed be done pretty much completely at random.
