Yup, his eyes are fused with his glasses – don’t think about it too much. Or perhaps the grapefruit pulp got behind the glasses somehow. Like in the words of George Costanza: “Pulp can move, baby!”

Behold! It’s a Cthulhu comic I made a while back! Observant readers will recognize this as the one that ran in the August issue of Le Monde diplomatique. It was also the “secret” project I’ve hinted at a few times earlier. It took me a while to make & I hope you like it! This [...]
Here’s a new comic strip! It arrives even though issues with my Cintiq drivers attempted to hinder me completely. Note to self: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! (i.e. don’t install new drivers unless absolutely necessary.)
Another oldie! Also it’s another meta comic! I used to make a bunch of these when starting out, and I still find them somewhat amusing. I’m not quite sure if they’re equally as interesting for non-cartoonists, though… Oh, and of course, with this particular one, there’s no disrespect intended for my cartoonists friends. You’re still [...]
Nope! This taxidermy was not provided by Chuck Testa. Or maybe he did, and deliberately messed it up. Anyway! As you’re reading this my summer holiday is well underway – and I still have a couple weeks of relaxation left. So, for the next three updates I will be posting some older “retro” strips I [...]
I did several hours of cat picture research on the internet before making this comic. I don’t think I got through them all, though! Will have to set aside a couple more evenings for this purpose. Oh, and don’t worry – all the depicted cats here had at least 2 lives left before the third [...]
Happy Friday 13th! (Freddy won the very first round by a huge margin, even with his clear handicap of having to manage the buttons with 20 cm blades on his fingers.)
I’m back! And I bring a poop joke. All “side-projects” (and my best man responsibilities!) are now done, so expect regular updates on Mondays and Fridays from now on. Oh and don’t worry, I’ll get around to posting the “thing” I made eventually. More about that later, I guess! Also! Tomorrow is my birthday. Please [...]
Here’s a brand new comic strip to go with your brand new week. Also, do you read Formal Sweatpants? You totally should! Update for June 22nd: Apologies! I’m pushing today’s comic update to Monday instead. I’ve been super busy with another deadline, and doing a regular comic as well for today turned out to be [...]
Here’s a new comic strip – which appears even though I was busy meeting countless awesome Norwegian cartoonists at the Oslo Comics Expo over the weekend. Also, this weekend saw the release of the sweet zombie anthology “ÜberZombie” featuring two pages of Optipess! Go here to order a copy (in Norwegian).
What, June already? I’m still feeling March, 2009. Oh, and did you see this blog post? You can now buy Optipess t-shirts through Brainswear! Buy three and get 10€ off! Update June 4th: As announced, no comic today as I’m working on another (cool) project. It’ll end up here eventually, I think. Regular updates will [...]
Apologies for the late update! It’s still Monday, right..? Even in Australia! (Also, just a head’s up – the update schedule may become a bit more erratic in the coming weeks since I have a couple other exciting and *paying* projects that may take precedence. Everything will be posted here in due time, but I [...]
We don’t have these mailboxes in Europe, so when researching them I discovered the flag is primarily used for outgoing mail (and not as a notification for incoming mail). Well, turns out it fits the theme of this comic even better! So yeah, hopefully he’ll arrive at the correct recipient in divinity. *sniffle*
Almost forgot that today is the 3rd annual Dialogue Free Comics Day. Luckily today’s comic turned out to be wordless anyway! Also, new (or old, for that matter) readers should check out this previous Tetris comic.
Hello! Here’s a new comic that maybe puts this familiar scenario in a new perspective. Oh, and the new computer fan is installed and working properly, even though it was CLEARLY not identical to the previous one. I suspect I was sent the wrong model, but after some modifications I managed to MacGyver it into [...]
