Horror of the Sea
Voila, another one of these woodcut attempts! This one makes me want to buy a bathtub and cram it into my apartment somewhere – probably the living room. Either there or on my balcony.

This makes me miss bathtub toys. Unfortunately, they’re not quite as fun in the shower. I think you’ve just about got that woodcutting effect down.

That is awesome. I like the switch up in style.

This is hilariously silly. The masterful woodcut-style totally makes it.

Thanks fellas! I’m glad you guys are enjoying these. Even though I originally aimed for a more metal engraved style with these I’m still having a blast drawing the “woodcut” style. There won’t be any more new ones, though – at least for a while, but I’ll look into re-doing the previous “Pirate Parrots” strip to look more like this as I wasn’t particularly pleased with how that one turned out.

I don’t want to repeat myself too much but damn dude, your talent level is so much higher than when you started out it’s really freaking impressive. Awesome idea, too.

Hah, that would’ve been a good alternate title. That or “Quacken of the Sea”.

I love that all your woodcuts involve creatures rising out of the sea. Awesome work!
