Edit: So for some reason I decided to redo the last couple panels of this strip, quite possibly making it marginally more amusing. Maybe? The old version is here if you want to compare.

Well, call me a blind fool. I was too distracted by the shiny in the last panel of the new comic, so I thought he was standing by the hood of his car, being happy that he won the award, what with him being somewhat like a puppeteer, but with bullets. And I thought that was unfair and funny.
I agree with Gillsing- I didn’t notice the cemetery until I read the comics. In either case, I think the first version was better. I feel your pain, sir, as I often say “WHICH PUNCHLINE SHOULD I USE” in my comics. ‘Tis a tough decision.
Thanks for chiming in with your comments, guys! Looks like the change was mostly appreciated, but I’d agree that the cemetary setting could’ve been clearer. I guess I could add a church or something in the background, but by now I feel like I’ve spent far too much time on this silly comic already.
Another vote for the old version…
the judges were the funniest part for me, especially the bearded one.
I also liked the ambiguity.. whether or not this is an actual dance team.

So, you think you can dance?
This reminds me of the scene from Back to the Future Part III.

“So you think you can dance, pardner?”

I like the old one better. Both are amusing though
