Here’s a much delayed Christmas comic which didn’t make Christmas 2025 for various reasons! But of course, it will probably still be relevant all through 2026 until next Christmas anyway.
Important fact: the word “alv” in Norwegian means “elf”. I’m positive the consequences of this revelation are… somewhat immense. I guess? Also, both words have three characters. Half-Life 3 confirmed?
Thanks for the explanation! I guessed correctly this was going to be a Nordic pun. But only because I watched the Swedish moose migration livefeed, which featured the Swedish word älv (river, apparently) so my brain said “ALV, looks Scandinavian, checks out”. Looking at the actual meaning this is all probably just a coincidence, rather than linguistic insight :P
