New Design!

Here is a comic about enshittification! You’re probably painfully aware of the concept already just by existing in the world today, but nevertheless – check out this explanation from the Norwegian Consumer Council.

Speaking of enshittification: Lotta new intrusive ads on this site, huh? Been on my adblock whitelist for a long time, but maybe I need to reconsider.
I mean I get it to some degree, but rather ironic nonetheless, wouldn’t you say?
I mean, geez, not even user submitted comments are safe from awful inserted links!
You’re absolutely right, I wasn’t aware it was so bad. (Ads are usually hidden for me as long as I am logged in to Patreon.) I haven’t really made any changes on my end, but I might have accidentally accepted some new automatic ads implementation. I’m looking into it, hopefully it should be turned off soon. Apologies!
At least physical products are still free from subscription services…..
What I don’t get is when they say “new and improved”. If it’s new, there’s nothing to have improved upon; if it’s improved, there must have been something before it so it’s not new! You can’t have it both ways! (Unless you’re in marketing, apparently.)
…what? Can you really not wrap your head around the concept of a new version of an existing thing?
When Windows 11 first came out, it was new. It did not previously exist, and now it does. But you can also easily compare it to Windows 10 and say in which areas the new Windows is better or worse than the old one.
Half the time what I actually know is that I don’t see Product on the shelf, so I just have to pick another brand at random.
Have you tried the Joker brand? Guaranteed to get a grin, again and again!
Hey, I loved this comic! The design vibes are spot on. Have you thought about exploring how slope riding trends can inspire other art forms?
