So, uh… I’m not sure what his head is supposed to be.
An ear plug. I actually planned to call this comic “Mr and Mrs Ear Plug” or something similar, but figured it was a bit too on the nose. But maybe it would help after all?
I wouldn’t have gotten it anyway, I’d have thought it meant the earplugs he’s putting on in the first panel. Still, that’s probably because I have never worn earplugs and thus don’t recognize what they look like up close.
