( Although I must quibble about the “dreamless” part. His mucking around in people’s dreams even as he sleeps is after all a major element of the mythos.)

@BAM: That’s a good point, I might change it. I had originally scribbled down “eternal” as an alternative to “dreamless” in my notebook.
@Vogel: Nope, Norwegian here.
@Nosetroll: I think most Lovecraft stories are public domain by now – so you should be able to find them on the Internet. I might be wrong, though. Apart from “Call of Cthulhu”, check out “Pickman’s Model”, an early favorite of mine.
