Safety First
According to science, this SHOULD work. (Yup, those fire extinguishers ARE of the drychemical and/or carbondioxide sort).
Also related, check out this comic from 5 (!) years ago.

Still wouldn’t be good enough for OSHA.

Haha! I really should catch up with this show. *checks Netflix*
Technically all they have to do is fill it with Helium instead of Hydrogen, but judging by the second panel, they went for historical accuracy :)
History fact: The real reason zeppelins didn’t become a hit is not just because of the danger, it’s because they are really slow compared to planes and crazy old people with a flying city full of racists can mount cannons on them and attack anyone on the globe based on false ideals and to protect their lamb from the False Prophet… and that’s a fact!
Now I just got a sudden urge to replay Bioshock Infinite…
In fact, it wasn’t even the hydrogen gas that was the main problem …. Yeah it’s flammable, but it’s also lighter than air, which would tend to carry the flames away from the ship. The real trouble was that their various layers of the Zeppelin skin — IIRC it was aluminum mesh next to metal-oxide weatherproofing — accidentally added up to a thermite recipe.
