Video Games Wet Dreams
Here is a comic “inspired” by the current state of the video games industry, and specifically Microsoft’s boneheaded decision to close several studios, amongst them Tango Gameworks and Arkane Austin. Arkane especially was a favorite of mine. Prey from 2017 is right there at the top of my list of the best games ever made. For some reason not a lot of people played it. I implore you, check it out!
What? Pay for a game once, and then keep playing it for the rest of your life for free? Madness, I tell you!
Prey sucked, I vowed to never buy a game from Arkane after I hate-played my way to the end of Prey. The intro was really cool and the story and aliens seemed cool, but not enough to make up for the gameplay.
I couldn’t disagree more with this comment. But hey, that’s the internet for you!
I really enjoyed the humor in your take on video game culture! What inspired you to blend these themes so creatively? Also, have you explored how slope run mechanics could add to this genre?
